Yay! Andrea from Everyday Beauty had her beautiful bookmarks featured in Country Living this month. I adore these bookmarks. It's like simplicity meets grandeur......
It's always fun telling people that I know someone who is in a magazine and then explaining to them how I "know" them.
It usually starts off with me exclaiming, "Yay! My friend Andrea is in Country Living"
Person, who may or may not be my husband, who unfortunately happens to be closest to me when I yell this out, "Who's Andrea?"
Me trying to figure out how to explain complicated, but yet oh so simple relationship equation, "oh,I know her through blogging. She's is the sweetest person ever...."
Person who is growing suspicious of said friendship, "Have I ever met her?"
Me, again, trying to explain to a basic layman on how the intricacies of blogging relationships work, "Well, I never met her in person. But we email each other. And I just know she is the sweetest person ever. Even though I've never really spoken to her. But look.... she is amazingly talented....."
Person, who may or may not be my husband, is growing bored by the second, "I don't get."
Me, in exasperation, once again realizing how clueless non bloggers are on blogging friendships, "Forget it. I'm going to go tell my real friends who understand!"
So here I am telling you all to go say Hi to Andrea at Everyday Beauty! She's amazing....I just know it! Talk to you later! Karin

Well, right back at you! I hope someday we can actually meet, but until then I KNOW you are a sweetheart and do consider you a friend!
Thank you for such a nice post, Karin. What a nice birthday surprise!!
Hugs,
Andrea

Isn't it GREAT to have friends who "GET YOU"? And I am soooooooooo glad I found you! I did my final Moulin Post today (yes, I KNOW it's been forever but, I've been BUSY!) & I finished the post with a picture of US! It was so good to see you & I hate that it was so short & we really didn't get to visit. I NEED to come back! Have a Happy Easter sweet friend. And by the way... I GET YOU! HUGS!

Hi Karin,
Love these bookmarks!!! My husband is trying to understand blogging! lol He asks me, how many people commented on my post, and what is today? Trashy Tuesday? Then he laughs. He plays along, which I think is sweet. But, I know he doesn't "get it". lol!! Aren't blog friends wonderful? I met my dear friend Shari of My Cottage of Bliss. I went 2 yrs ago in April. She did a post about my visit. She posted in April or May of 2009. I am going to visit again next month. I just adore her. We are like "soul sisters" so she says.

There is someone that is coming or passing away in your life around the clock, so you may lose sight of those seen, and forget those remembered. There is gain and loss in your life, so you may catch sight of those unseen, and remember those forgotten. Nevertheless, doesn‘t the unseen exist for sure? Will the remembered remain for ever?
