A couple weeks ago when we received the new Crate valentine paper at Paper Tales, I quickly threw together a store sample to show it off. As the founding and only member of the Paper Tales design team (Randi refuses to participate on the team with me citing unneccesary use of glitter and lack of knowledge of embossing techniques), I feel it's my duty to bring the newest and brightest paper to the forefront of the scrapbooking world. Of course, in my usual fashion, by the time I put it up all the paper was sold out. Apparently my "quickly" was not quick enough. This is why Michelle gets very annoyed at my one person design team show. However, I live to annoy her..... Anyway, you can essentially do it with any paper. I also used Lily Bee and various trims we had on hand.
The white floral ribbon is Maya Road.....
On this page, I took some clear acrylic paper and edged it with some washi tape. I pute the "love" chipboard on it and the little heart......
I was so busy patting myself on the back for doing such a cute overlay that it didn't occur to me that there is a backside.......
I just put some little squares on the back of the love tiles to cover the backside of the chipboard......
On top of the XOXO tag is another piece of acrylic overlay trimmed with washi tape......

Wow, what a gorgeous book.
I just love it. Happy PD!
