However, the soon to be Tony nominated play "Drei Kleinen Schweinchen" was performed at Albert Einstein Academy, starring the soon to be renowned actor Andres portraying the "Stroh Haus."
For those of you who were unfortunately unable to attend the dramatic, humorous and at times action packed performance let me just say you missed out on the making of 2nd grade history.
Adorned in his yellow shirt, Andres was nothing short of brilliant in his recreation of the hay filled abode. Not since his performance as Martin Luther King in the "Hereos" assignment earlier in the year has he embraced a role with such intensity, emotion and drive.
I actually overheard someone in the audience say..... "I have never seen a dried stalk of grain been played with such passion and integrity"....... and then another proclaim "I can't believe a straw house could bring me to tears one moment and then laughter the next." and yet another gasp "Genius!"
Autographed pictures will be available on my Etsy in the coming weeks......
