I'm hanging out at Paper Tales today. I am going to get some work done though. I'm completing a couple projects for upcoming classes and dropping off some inspiration packs I put together.
Here's an Easter photo album I'm working on........
And a heart shaped scrapbook.......
So good to get back into the groove again. It seems like all I've been doing is cleaning my craft room. Problem is it nevers seems to get done. I finally decided to just shove the mess aside and create. Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do.
Look what I found in the cupboard.......
A long forgotten bag a Moose Munch from Christmas. I LOVE when that happens! I kept it on the kitchen counter while working on my projects in my craft room so that I wouldn't inhale it all at once. The problem was that everytime I sat down and picked up my glue gun I was done chewing and got back up to get more. The bag lasted 5 minutes. I tried.
If anyone is around on Saturday, pop in at Paper Tales. I'll be doing a paper heart class for Valentine's Day. It was one of those crazy last minute ideas that I cooked up with Michelle last week. Now let me tell you had Diane been there, the idea would not have gotten any farther than the table at which Michelle and I were sitting. I told Diane a long time ago that under no circumstances am I to schedule a class without having a sample in hand. Because invariably, the sample never gets done or finally arrives the day before the class is scheduled. So, of course with the blessing of Michelle, I plan this fun simple glittery awesome make and take class.
Here's the problem.....Michelle and I are like the drunk guys in the bar at the end of the night inviting everyone over for a party at their house next week....."come on over! Big party at my house! I'll provide the cheese puffs and marguaritas...woo hoo......."
Diane is the sober one of the group shuttling us out the door while simultaneously telling the crowd the party has been cancelled before it even begins.
Diane is essential to the longevity of my teaching career at Paper Tales.
Anyway, I've got some fun gals signed up.....even without a sample! So pop in if you want to make a last minute Valentine!
Talk to you soon! Karin
