to Paper Tales!! It's been two years since I started stalking them....I mean, since they opened their doors and turned the entire scrapbook industry on its ears. I can honestly say Paper Tales has changed the lives of everyone in the San Diego community. Ok, maybe I can't "honestly" say that......but it sure feels like that.
I love to call it the "Cheers" bar of the crafting kind. When you walk in you are surrounded by beautiful paper, ribbon and art. But, really, the first thing you notice upon entering is that you feel immediately at home. That's because Michelle, Diane, Julie and Helle make you feel welcome and a part of the store.
One of the common sentiments upon entering is "OMG...I can't breathe, I'm so excited!" Another is "I'll be right back. I told my husband I was going to be just a minute. I need to tell him to pick me up next week."
And, in a case such as my own, I never left. So they figured the only option were a restraining order or put me to work. Luckily for me they choose the latter and I'm now happily stocking scrapbook paper and Stickles.
So if you are in town, head over there on Saturday for a fun filled day of make and takes, a trunk show by this lovely lady and cupcakes. I even made this cake for a giveaway!
