The CEO of Chaos felt that my Boo Banner tutorial was too complicated and not made with the busy, active crafting woman in mind. So, he decided to come up with a fast and easy project that anyone can do. The best part - only three materials are involved: a paper mache box, Sprinklers *aka* glitter and an entire bottle of black craft paint.
First, take your paper mache boxes and paint them orange. After the orange paint has dried, start putting black dots on it. When your mother leaves the room, pour half of the bottle of the black paint into the heart box and proceed to paint all the boxes, your hands and the side of your face.
2. When your mother comes back into the room say "oopsie" and claim it was all a big misunderstanding.
3. Proceed to dump other half of the bottle of black paint in the other box while your mother is gathering towels and cleaning products.
4. Once again say "oopsie" and plead big misunderstanding.
5. After determining that an entire bottle of black paint doesn't make enough of a Halloween statement, grab "sprinklers to give it that frightfully finishing touch.
6. Hold on to "sprinklers" with an iron grip and claim "I can do it myself while pouring half the bottle into the paper mache box.
7. Pay absolutely no heed to the phrase "Wait! Don't dump that glitter out of the box! Mommy needs to put it back in the jar!"
8.While mommy is scrambling for a folded piece of card stock, dump glitter out of box onto the wet, painted piece of cardboard while saying "oopsie" and, again, claim it was all a big misunderstanding...... and that Carlos did it.
8. After your mother explains that Carlos is in the other room reading his book, as well as, "liar, liar pants on fire" liars don't get to go on the wii, excuse yourself and say "I all done."
There you have it. A fun quick tutorial, that frankly, puts an end to all other Halloween crafting.
Enjoy!
