I finally finished my little Halloween Album for a class at Paper Tales. Originally, I was going to use beeswax on it. However, since I hadn't quite gotten the whole sealer thing down yet and I didn't want to ruin it, I decide to forgo the beeswax.
The journal cover below for Kari's Halloween blog has the beeswax on it. The "Enter" and "at your own risk" were added after I applied the beeswax because I was afraid my ink jet ink would smear.
Here's a before and after. You can see here how it gives it a yellow aged look....
Almost all the paper is some old 7gypsies that I scored online. I love the flocked one that I used for the roof. It has such an interesting color combo. Here are some of the inside pages.......
Here is the back. I used a Maya Road chipboard album because I loved the edges on it....
I love this orange glitter. It's Martha Stewart "Fire Opal." I can't remember where or when I got it, only that I adore the subtle orange glimmer.......
Well that's it for now. I'll have some more stuff coming up.....plus a fun tutorial. Talk to you soon! Karin
