Other than Glitterfest-A-Palooza and Dirt Bike Accident O-Rama, life in these parts have been the usual quiet, boring stuff......Taking kids to school, thinking of blog post to write but never doing them, washing dishes, looking at all my vintage wallpaper and thinking "geez, someone should really make something out of that," grocery shopping, watching Judge Judy, setting items just out of reach of people with broken legs to see what he will do..........blah, blah, blah.
Well. All of that's about to change. Because guess what's happening in the Chaos household next week..........
The Chaos family was chosen to be on an episode of Home Made Simple and they are filming the episode next week. I have to be honest this ranks right up there with the birth of my children, the day I got married and the time I met Carol Duvall. Not necessarily in that order.
So, of course I'm going to milk this thing for everything it's got. Because, really, I just don't know when the next exciting thing is going to come down the pike for me. Really. I don't. So this is it for now. I'm going to fill you in on all the behind the scenes activity as we go along. You know.....the drama, the fights, the name calling.......At one point, I really want to stomp back to my dressing room and demand that my contract be renegotiated. Even though I was very clearly told I had neither a dressing room nor a contract, I'll figure something out.
I have to get to bed, but tomorrow I will tell you how this all came about, how incredibly fun and nice the designers and crew are and last but definitely not least how Paper Tales is going to be in it too.
