Crazy for Crepe Trees.......

 
 

no matter what the season.....

 

I'm almost finished with this one for a class for Paper Tales.  I'm so excited to get started on the crepe paper trees.  I started so late last year that I really never had a chance to burn myself out on them.  I figure I have at least three more months to do so.......

 

I also got some new Halloween stamps yesterday......

 

Also some trim for the mini book class......

 

That is what I'm going to work on today.   So hopefully I will have some more pictures tomorrow to share.

Also, back at the beginning of the year I went on a whirlwind submitting for publication world tour.   I completely forgot this was going to be published until I received the magazine in the mail.......

Construction has begun.......

 

on the haunted house.  However, it's been difficult to get this project off the ground as there is a six year old subcontractor who keeps stealing my supplies.  He keeps insisting that the house was ordered for him to complete the "Island of Sodor Subdivision" project of 2011.  I told him all funding for that was rescinded in the mortgage meltdown of 2010.   

So in between the tug of war and starting foreclosure proceedings n him, I've managed to complete this much of the house.......

 

I'm planning on doing a class at Paper Tales provided that I actually get it done before Halloween.   Otherwise it will have to be a class for the "scary" Christmas village.   

I've got a bunch of other Halloween papers ready to go for a Halloween mini book class......

It's been a busy week over here with the start of school.   Andres keeps telling me that "I didn't even get in any trouble!"  when asked how his day went.  I told him that "I didn't realize there was so much potential for trouble in the first grade."   But apparently there is.
