Halloween......

So..... I've now temporarily halted Christmas crafting of mini houses to creating little mini halloween houses in anticipation of my boyfriend Count Chocula's annual visit to me.  I thought I would set him up in his own little abode.

From snowy to spooky.....

The Trio of Trees.....

The crepe paper tree is back.........

and he brought along some friends.   I wanted to do this class last year but just couldn't get it together.  So I was determined to get it on the calendar this year.  I'm teaching this "Trio of Trees" at Paper Tales on Saturday, November 2nd.   I may have some kits available too.   

A couple years ago I experimented with the ruffled seambinding to form a tree and this last CHA I did one for the Melissa Frances booth using my favorite tulle trim......

Party Hats....

I recently made some party hats for a photo op we did at Paper Tales......

The each have a wood dowel attached so you can "wear" them on top of your head.  These were so much fun to make. 

I would love to take credit for this super cute idea, but alas, someone beat me to it.  Here's the picture of the inspiration.  I looked everywhere on line for these, but can not find the original artist.  If anyone knows please let me know so I can give credit.  Thanks!  Talk to you soon....Karin
